Mechanical Engineer – Project Management

Do you enjoy managing a challenging mechanical project from conception through to commissioning? Do you enjoy project ownership?
In this role you will be involved at the outset with sales. You will then manage a team of mechanical and E&I designers to produce appropriate designs and then indirectly manage manufacturing delivery and commissioning. You will be dealing with offshore clients and most probably need to visit them particularly at the commissioning stage. The machinery is handling equipment incorporating cutting edge robotics.
To do this job effectively you will need:
• A tertiary qualification in mechanical engineering
• Very well developed project management skills including contractual and commercial aspects
• The ability to interface proactively with clients
• The ability to manage mechanical and E&I design
• Excellent people skills
• Relevant experience in mechanical engineering
