Bringing with you a BE Civil degree, 8+ years Structural Engineering experience and a-lot of drive to help facilitate growth within the organisation.
The role itself will initially see you working on a variety of Structural Engineering projects as Lead Design Engineer, encompassing detailed design through to Project / Construction management.
The projects will cover both Buildings structures and civil structures.
However, this is the interesting bit. The medium term plan is to split the team into two groups, one group focussing on civil work and the other on Building Structures.
Your role will grow from Lead Structural Engineer to team Leader and beyond within the Building Structures group.
As this happens you will be provided a business mentor and all the support you need from company Directors to grow and develop the capabilities of the business. This will ultimately see your role change even more, as you become involved in business development and mentoring of junior members of staff.
It is not expected that you will bring polished business development skills with you, the key ingredients with this aspect of the role is your level of experience and confidence in managing clients, along with a willingness to learn.
In return you will be paid a salary ranging from $90,000 - $120,000, depending on experience.
